Where Should I Start?

Many students are unsure which course is right for them. Below are common starting points to help guide your decision.

  • Massachusetts LTC or FID licensing: Begin with our Massachusetts State Police–approved firearms safety course required for license applicants.
  • New to firearms: Introductory pistol, rifle, or shotgun courses focused on safe handling and fundamentals.
  • Personal safety or self-defense: Non-firearms and firearms-based training focused on awareness, decision-making, and defensive preparedness.
  • Private or group training: Customized instruction for individuals, families, friends, clubs, or organizations.
  • Range or instructor safety roles: Range Safety Officer and instructor-level education.
