Seacoast Firearms Training – General Policies

Seacoast Firearms Training, LLC provides professional firearms and personal safety training in accordance with Massachusetts State Law and applicable Federal Law. The following policies define expectations, responsibilities, and procedures for all students.
Refunds & Deposits
Class sizes are limited. Please ensure you are able to attend on the scheduled date before registering. When a seat is reserved and later canceled or unused, another student is denied that opportunity.
Full payment or a required registration fee is necessary to reserve a seat in any course. All course fees are non-refundable.
If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class, Seacoast Firearms Training may, at its discretion, offer a one-time reschedule into a future class at no additional cost, subject to availability.
If Seacoast Firearms Training cancels a class due to low enrollment, weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances, students will be notified as early as possible and may choose either a full refund or rescheduling into another available class.
Private one-on-one instruction requires a deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total class cost. Group classes generally require a minimum of three (3) participants; seminars typically require a minimum of ten (10). Classes not meeting minimum enrollment may be rescheduled or canceled.
Inclement Weather Cancellations
Unless otherwise notified, classes will proceed as scheduled regardless of weather conditions. Due to the planning involved with venues, instructors, and resources, weather-related cancellations are rare.
If a class proceeds as scheduled and a student does not attend, all fees are forfeited.
Student Conduct & Minors
Students are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and safe manner. Behavior that disrupts instruction, compromises safety, or interferes with the rights of others may result in dismissal without refund.
Students under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Minors may not sign liability waivers; a parent or guardian must be present to execute all required documents.
Safety Policy
Safety is the highest priority of Seacoast Firearms Training. Anyone failing to observe safety rules or behaving in a manner that endangers others may be removed from the classroom or range. This includes individuals under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.
All students must sign a Liability Waiver prior to class and certify that they are not a prohibited person under state or federal law.
NO LIVE AMMUNITION OR FIREARMS ARE PERMITTED IN THE CLASSROOM — NO EXCEPTIONS.
Ammunition Policy (Live Fire & Private Training)
The use of reloaded, re-manufactured, hand-loaded, or otherwise altered ammunition is strictly prohibited during any private instruction or live-fire training conducted by Seacoast Firearms Training.
Only factory-new, commercially manufactured ammunition that meets SAAMI specifications and is approved by the instructor may be used. This policy applies regardless of caliber, firearm type, or training location.
Students arriving with prohibited ammunition will not be permitted to participate in live-fire exercises until compliant ammunition is obtained. No exceptions will be made.
Courses, Testing & Passing Standards
All NRA and certification courses are performance-based. Payment does not guarantee course completion or certification. Students must demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and safe handling practices.
Courses, Venues & Pricing
Course pricing varies based on materials, ammunition, venue costs, location, and availability. The same course may be offered at different prices depending on these factors.
Pregnant or Nursing Students
Students who are pregnant or nursing should consult their physician prior to participating in firearms training. Considerations include noise exposure and potential lead exposure.
Prohibited Persons & Self-Certification
It is the sole responsibility of each student to know and understand their legal eligibility to possess firearms or ammunition prior to registering for or attending any course.
All students self-certify that they are not prohibited under state or federal law. Seacoast Firearms Training relies on the truthfulness of this certification and does not conduct background checks as part of course registration.
Seacoast Firearms Training is not responsible for individuals who provide false, incomplete, or misleading information regarding their legal eligibility.
If a student is denied a License to Carry (LTC), Firearms Identification (FID), or any other firearms-related license or permit due to disqualifying history, no refund will be issued, and the student may not return for retraining or remediation.
Commitment to Client Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our clients. All personal information is handled in accordance with applicable laws and ethical standards.
Class Payment Options
Most courses require payment of a registration fee through this website to reserve a seat. The remaining balance is due on the day of training and must be paid in cash.
At this time, no alternative payment methods are accepted for remaining balances. The instructor may, at their discretion, introduce additional payment options in the future.
FOR SECURITY PURPOSES, NO CREDIT CARD INFORMATION IS STORED ON THIS SITE.
Seacoast Firearms Training reserves the right to update or modify these policies at any time. The version posted on this page governs.
