Non-shooting course. The NRA Home Firearm Safety course is designed for individuals applying for a Massachusetts License to Carry (LTC) or Firearms Identification (FID) card. It provides essential knowledge, skills, and the proper mindset for the safe handling, storage, and management of firearms and ammunition in the home.

Course Overview

This four-hour, classroom-only course focuses on safe firearm ownership and responsible decision-making. No live fire is conducted.

Licensing & Course Approval
