Personal safety begins with awareness, preparation, and practical tools. This seminar provides valuable information on how to recognize potential threats, avoid dangerous situations, and improve everyday personal safety.
Based on the nationally recognized Refuse To Be A Victim® program, this seminar focuses on practical strategies that individuals and families can use to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime.
Participants will also receive an introduction to pepper spray for personal defense, including how it works, when it may be appropriate, and how to carry it safely.
No firearms are used in this seminar.

- Introduction to pepper spray for personal defense

Pepper Spray Familiarization
Participants will learn:
- how pepper spray works
- effective distance and deployment
- safe carry options
- legal considerations
Students will have the opportunity to practice using an inert training spray.
Each participant will also receive a personal pepper spray unit to take home.
